The bachelor house “Helleborg” is a student lodging with 10 individual rooms, which are let out for a school year, starting August 15th until June 15th the next year.

From midsummer until school starts we let 9 rooms, 2 located on the first floor and 7 on the ground floor, to tourists and other travellers. Each summer we have guests from all over the world.

The “Helleborg” is a member of “Ålesund Reiselivslag” and has a close and good cooperation with various hotels, camping sites and other tourist related organizations in Ålesund and surrounding areas.

“Helleborg” is situated approx. 1,5 km. East of Ålesund down town, i.e. in Nørve, in tranquil surroundings, close to everyday shops and stores, gas station, and the beach, a short distance to “Fjellstua” (a restaurant situated on top of the city hill Aksla)

“Bus stop 106 – Nørvegata West” with connections to and from down town Ålesund, Åndalsnes (railway station) and Ålesund Airport, is located just 100 metres away.
